Gigi D'Agostino Loves Torino

"The use of the VIO PA system allowed us to achieve a high level of intelligibility, essential for sound diffusion of this scale."

——ATS Technical Manager

Dance music icon Gigi D'Agostino electrified the crowd, igniting spirits with his signature, irresistible beat, and the Inalpi Arena turned into a world of scenic and sensorial explosions.

"Gigi D'Agostino Loves Torino," created by Fondazione Reverse, marked a grand return to the extraordinary alchemy between clubbing and pop culture - a combination made possible by this true DJ master. who is today able to almost transcend time.

The Inalpi Arena offers a total area of more than 30,000 square meters and 15,000 seats in an indoor, rectangular layout. For the sound coverage of the arena, ATS company arranged for the use of a Main VIO L212 system and a delay system for the back rows, with a massive presence of subwoofers in both flyable and stacked placements.

ATS Technical Manager commented on the project, highlighting: “The use of the VIO PA system allowed us to achieve a high level of intelligibility, essential for sound diffusion of this scale. We deployed a significant number of flyable subwoofer units to ensure the 'right punch' in the mid-low frequencies with uniform coverage. Thanks to the characteristics of the line arrays we were able to deliver and enhance the mid-high frequencies, achieving uniform and precise coverage."

The sound system configuration was designed by the team as follows:

  • Main: 32 VIO L212s
  • Outfills: 16 VIO L212s
  • Delays: 16 VIO L1610s
  • Infills: 8 VIO L1610s (stacked in 4 modules per side)
  • Subwoofers: 42 S218Fs (18 hanging modules - 9 per side in cardioid configuration and 24 stacked units in end-fire configuration)
